Manage settings, usage, and integrations

Settings is where you manage optional sign-in and data sources, plan usage, Help, privacy, account deletion, language, appearance, version details, and onboarding.

Steps

  1. Open Settings from the navigation.
  2. Use Connections to review optional Apple or Google sign-in, Garmin, native iOS Apple Health, and planned provider status.
  3. Use Plan and usage to check current limits.
  4. Use App settings to change language or appearance, open Help, privacy or terms, inspect version details, or restart the tour.
  5. Use Account and data deletion to submit and later inspect a support-reviewable deletion request.
  6. Open Admin only when your signed-in account has explicit access.

What You Should See

Settings shows account and provider state, planned connections, available usage, app preferences, version details, and privacy or deletion actions that apply to the current platform.

Tips

  • If provider sync looks stale, check the connection status here before troubleshooting workouts.
  • Apple Health import only works in the native iOS app after sign-in; Garmin can be used without SSO.
  • Strava and Polar are currently shown as planned and do not offer a connect action.
  • Use Restart tour when you want to see the onboarding screens again.
  • WODIQ v1 is free and does not offer purchases. Native builds can still differ from web in platform-specific controls.

Account And Data

A device session is enough to start anonymously. Optionally sign in with Apple or Google when you want to use the same account on other devices. If an account merge cannot be completed safely, existing data stays unchanged and WODIQ directs you to support.

Account and data deletion creates a support-reviewable request; it is not an immediate hard delete. The card then shows the request status. Some minimal records can remain only when required for legal, audit, fraud prevention, or billing evidence.

Connections

  • Garmin: connect and sync activities and recovery data; disconnecting removes the Garmin connection and imported Garmin data. Supported Running and Cycling workouts can optionally be sent to the Garmin Connect calendar.
  • Apple Health: import workouts only from the native iOS app after signing in and granting access. WODIQ imports read-only; disconnecting removes the Apple Health connection and imported Apple Health activities.
  • Strava and Polar: current Settings shows these connections as planned and does not offer a connect action yet.
  • Sync status: when sync runs in the background, WODIQ updates shared status after the provider finishes. Use manual sync when data looks stale.

Plan And Usage

Plan and usage shows how many AI workouts and Coach Reviews you used in the current month and how many remain. WODIQ v1 is free; purchases are not available in this release.

App Settings, Help, And Version

Switch Dutch/English and light/dark appearance, open Help, privacy policy or terms, and inspect app and server versions for support or TestFlight. Authorized accounts also see an Admin entry.

Native App Updates

Only the native app checks for a newer or unsupported build. A persistent top bar offers Update and remains visible until the build is current; web and standalone PWA do not show this notice. During Today execution, the notice is deferred until you navigate to a safe screen.

Restart Onboarding

Use Restart tour when you want to see the visual onboarding again. This does not change your training data.

Admin

The regular navigation does not show an admin icon. Only explicitly authorized signed-in accounts see the admin entry in the web variant. The backoffice is an internal operational surface and is therefore outside this user guide.
